Kapparot Online
It is customary to offer the Pidion (redeeming) KAPPAROT (of Atonement): To donate towards your Kapparot click the button below.
It is an ancient Jewish custom to fulfill the mitzvah of “kapparot” on Yom-Kippur eve with a rooster or hen and recite a prayer after which we give the birds to the poor as a good and sweet year remedy.
Particularly this year, we are making it available to do on our website in the most convenient way possible.
The text below is said three times while circling the head:
This is my exchange; this is my substitute; this is my atonement. This money will go to charity, and I will go to a good and long life and peace.
